You can imagine a large monkey trudging along behind a man digging in the rocks, which is what gives this piece its name. The stone is totally natural and can be viewed from both the front of the necklace and the back. It is mounted in a band of silver and surrounded by copper which derives its many colors from having been heated. It is 5 1/2" wide and hung on a handmade copper, bone and horn chain. There is only one stone like this in the world and this is the only necklace made from it. This comes in a beautiful wooden box and will make an excellent gift for someone who thrives on the unusual.
